Website Services and Fees

Website Maintenance - Pay As You Go

$30.00-$60.00 one time setup fee plus $15.00 per half hr (one half hour minimum) for html pages or html embedded in a php page.

Note: Unless you own the project files (xx.fla files), I do not maintain 100% Macromedia Flash created websites or objects other than to move or rearrange the object code position on a page. Only the project files can be revised. A flash object and/or website is compiled code which is not accessible.

Note2: Be aware that FrontPage and other similar visual editor built sites may take more labor time to maintain than a manually coded site. Visual editors use a coding system that embeds extra code that is in many cases duplicate code and increases page size, increases download times and makes it very difficult to find the actual content within the code.

Note3: Please be aware that your job may not be a "fast" update project. Depending on your requirements, what you think is a simple text update might take a few minutes or it might take several hours. This primarily is caused by the coding on your page, location of the update and/or if the code framework needs to be changed to accomodate the new text.

New Website and/or New Shopping Cart Design

Estimates for work will be sent via FAX and a formal Work Agreement signed prior to the start of any job. 30 - 50% down payment will be required before work begins depending on total estimated amount. Payments for work are through PayPal, or a check drawn on a qualified bank.

PHP/Perl Shopping Cart Install, Setup and/or Customization - $35.00 per hour
PHP/Perl Scripted Dynamic Content site (Content Management, Banner Management, Blogs, etc.) Install, Setup and/or Customization - $35.00 per hour

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT PRICES

The following prices are mostly estimates, unless noted otherwise. After numerous design projects in this business, I can confidently say that with most projects it is impossible to give a firm price without knowing the client's specific requirements. The prices have been published for your convenience, so you may know what price range to expect.

WEB DESIGN PRICES

Cost for website = Site theme design + Page design + Programming (if applicable)

Site Theme Design	Page Design
Incl. Layout, Design and Navigation The site theme is what is visible on every page of a website. It includes the design, layout and the site navigation, which are all consistent throughout the site. Please note that the below offers don't apply for full Flash web sites. Such can only be priced on an individual basis.	Individual Page Creation The page prices are based on the assumption that you want to have individually designed pages, which is mostly the case. Large websites (50+ pages), or sites that have generically created pages are priced differently.

Light Theme: $630. The most affordable solution to get a neat web site. Text links navigation, can be enhanced graphically (buttons menu), but no hover effects.	Light page: $80 Light graphics (page header, small graphic enhancements), simple text layout.
Classic Theme: $1010. Fairly complex websites, either because of the navigation menu or the graphic complexity or a more unusual website layout. Navigation can be JavaScript or simple Flash, hover and press effects, additionally to text links (for search engines).	Medium page: $110 Medium graphics, a classic page can have a more complex arrangement and/or text layout.
Enhanced Theme: $1260.+ This is where we get really creative.. Navigation can be Flash, JavaScript, DHTML.	Enhanced page: $150 Either advanced graphics or Flash accents, advanced text layouts & arrangements.

LOGO DESIGN PRICES Logo prices vary depending on your specific needs and likes. These are the most commonly requested logo services:

Simple Logos: $230

One or two color samples, typically 150x150 or smaller. Useful for personal web sites, or smaller corporate sites.

Preparations

Before you hire us (or any other design company), you should determine your company's attitude, vision and goal. Your logo should reflect these elements. Look for logos that you like and don't like and try to identify the elements of each.

Business logos: $440
Full color logo for your business. Used on company web sites, business cards, and letterheads.

Logo terms

Logotype: A logo that is either made entirely of letterforms, or the portion of a complete logo that is created using only letterforms. Many logotypes are combined with a logomark to create a full corporate unique logo.
Logomark: Usually the graphic symbol that accompanies a logotype.

Premium logos : $760
Professional logo consistent with your company's brand, image and market positioning. Used on corporate web site, business cards, letterheads and marketing collaterals.

There are 3 basic kinds of logos:
Graphical: Abstract graphic combined with your company name
Logotype/Text: Font elements only (your company name), developed into a design.
Illustrated: Illustration that most likely expresses what your company does.
